Out of an abundance of caution due to the water boil restrictions and not being able to provide enough water to students, Altus Public Schools will be closed on Friday, August 23. As always, student and staff safety is our priority. All out-of-town athletic events will continue as scheduled.
Due to the water loss across the district, Altus Public Schools will close at 11:00 today. Buses will run normal routes at 11:00. There will be no after-school daycare.
Altus Public Schools has the privilege of ALL students being offered a free breakfast and lunch.
We are excited to start a new school year! Please look out for our students and help keep everyone safe. Stop for buses with their stop sign out. Be patient as we all learn drop-off and pick-up procedures.
Meet the Teacher - Monday, August 12, 8:00-3:00. Please bring your backpack and supplies if possible.

Altus Primary School Enrollment packets are now available to pick up at the school. They may be picked up Monday-Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Completed paperwork may be returned to the school early or on Meet the Teacher Day! Meet the Teacher Day is Monday, August 12 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.!!
