Last week, Altus Public Schools faculty, staff, and students found meaningful ways to honor and remember those lost on September 11, 2001.
From running in remembrance to sharing a dance with a firefighter, our Bulldogs showed us that even as we pause to remember, there is still room for joy, connection, and gratitude.

Friday night (9/11/26) is our first home football game!
There will be a time of remembrance for those lost in 9/11 and a Pep-Squeakers performance before kickoff.

Altus Board of Education member Angela Coronado recently brought home a special prize for the District! During a recent school board member training, Mrs. Coronado won a drink refrigerator for Altus Public Schools.
Today, Kaleb Smith with Proactive Security Solutions made the trip to Altus to officially present Mrs. Coronado with the refrigerator.

Rivers Elementary students, parents, faculty, and staff, along with Altus Air Force Base leadership, signed the last beam of the new school building next to Rivers Elementary. During the beam-signing ceremonies, Principal Angela Cook, Superintendent Roe Worbes, Assistant Superintendent Robbie Holder, and AAFB Commander Col. Kind spoke to the students and guests. Pre-K students left their thumbprints, while Kindergarten through 4th grade students signed their names.

Individual Game Reserved Seat = $14
Individual Game General Admission = $5
Tickets can be bought at the Athletics Office Monday-Thursday from 8-3 and on Fridays from 8-12.
We are also selling Letterman's Passes ($25) and Student Passes ($40) again this year. Those can also be purchased in the Athletics Office.
