Renee Long was appointed to the Altus Board of Education seat 4 on Thursday at the November meeting of the Altus Board of Education. Seat 4 was previously held by Kelley Duncan who stepped down in October. Mrs. Long is an Altus High School graduate and served the students of Altus Public Schools as a teacher and principal for 42 years. She will temporarily serve on the Board until a newly elected board member fills the seat in April.
Altus Public Schools is grateful for Mrs. Long’s continued dedication and service!
