Students entering the 9th grade in August of 2025 and their guardians are invited to a brief meeting on Thursday, February 13 at 5:30 p.m. You are encouraged to tour the high school and learn about Altus High School's many clubs and organizations.

Our students have loved hosting Miss Oklahoma Lauren Frost this week! She brought her message of working hard for your dreams, using a power pose and affirmations. She also reminded our students they can only control themselves.





Oklahoma Representative Gerrid Kendrix made a surprise visit to Altus Public Schools Teacher of the Year on Tuesday, January 28. Kendrix joined the 17 Pre-K students in their classroom to congratulate their teacher, the 2025 Altus Public Schools Teacher of the Year, Beth McGurk. He also presented Mrs. McGurk with a Citation from the Oklahoma Legislature.
