This past weekend the AHS archery team competed in the Lawton MacArthur Bullseye, and 3D archery tournament. The team placed 5th in Bullseye, and 2nd in the 3D competition. The Top 4 shooters were: Kylee Linares -286, Savannah Roberson-281, Layla Rubio- 281, and Addi Saavedra-276...The AHS archery team would like to thank Senior Gavyn Shive for competing with the team at this tournament. #ALLIN

The Altus High School archery team win their first NASP tournament in The 2nd ANNUAL NINNEKAH HOOTenanny competition. Mrs. Gover presented a program to Rotary on the recent events and programs of the Altus Teens Interact Club, (ATI.) It included the recent implementation of the AHS Hygiene Closet. In appreciation of the program, Rotary made a donation to the Stephen E. Booker Foundation in ATI's honor and a donation of $1000 to the Hygiene Closet for supplies.

This Saturday, 7 December, the 97 AMW Aviation Inspiration Mentorship (AIM) Wing Program is hosting an Aviation Fair at Altus Junior High School located at 1601 S. Park Lane from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The event is free and open to the public and will provide entertainment for the whole family – STEM activities, interactive demonstrations, and AAFB Airmen there to answer questions with photo opportunities.


Please return all Federal Forms to the main office at Altus High School by Friday, December 8.
Federal Forms are required by the Federal Government in order for schools to receive Impact Aide.
Impact Aid is a Federal education program that reimburses school districts for the lost revenue and additional costs associated with the presence of nontaxable Federal property.
All military members and civilians who have children attending Altus Public Schools should complete the forms and return them to the school.
