Altus Public Schools will send home Federal Forms on Wednesday, November 13. Completed forms are due back on or before Monday, November 18.
Federal Forms are required by the Federal Government in order for schools to receive Impact Aide.
Impact Aid is a Federal education program that reimburses school districts for the lost revenue and additional costs associated with the presence of nontaxable Federal property.
All military members and civilians who have children attending Altus Public Schools should complete the forms and return them to the school.

Colonel Adam Rosado, Deputy Wing Commander of the 97th Air Mobility Wing, presented a presentation on the history and meaning of Veterans Day to the students and staff of Altus High School. Thank you for taking the time to speak to us and for your service.



Bulldog Football fans,
Due to the threat of severe weather on Friday in the Oklahoma City area, the Bulldog Football game originally scheduled for Friday, November 8th has been moved to Thursday, November 7th. The game will still be held at Carl Albert at 7:00 p.m.


ATI was presented with a $1000 check today from the Kiwanis Club for the AHS Hygiene Closet. The check was presented by Bryce Seller. ATI appreciates the generous donation that will be used to restock needed items .


The Altus Bulldog Archery Program will have AHS Archery Tryouts for anyone interested in shooting NASP BULLSEYE and 3D Competitions. Tryouts will take place November 12th - 15th at the Altus Intermediate School from 5:30 7:00 P.M.

On Wednesday, October 16th, the aviation students from Altus High School embarked on a field trip to the Stafford Air and Space Museum. The students were fortunate to have a knowledgeable tour guide named Frank, who provided them with an engaging and informative experience..During their visit they had the opportunity to explore a variety of exhibits where they learned about the remarkable history and achievements of General Stafford and his significant contributions to the state of Oklahoma. The museum's exhibits allowed students to immerse themselves in the world of aviation and space exploration, sparking their curiosity and inspiring them to pursue their own dreams in these fields.
