Two of Mrs. Morgan’s students worked hard to master more math facts! Congratulations!

4th graders learned about being safe around electricity, all about beef cattle, dairy cattle, cotton, wheat, soil, and water. We also made butter and checked out some large farm equipment.









Our students and staff celebrated Unity Day today by wearing orange!

Join Rivers Elementary in wearing orange tomorrow for Unity Day

Mrs. Bridger’s class got to use tangrams today in STEAM. They got to be artists while also doing a little bit of Math.





Mrs. Morgan's 2nd grade class placed 2nd in the spirit wear compition last week.

Mrs. McKenzie’s PreK class had a great time in STEAM today creating pictures with Tangrams.






Attention Rivers Families: Our fundraiser is scheduled to be delivered on October 28, 2025. We will have items ready for pickup at 11:00 am. Please note that many of the items will need to be refrigerated and we will not have enough space to keep the bulk of the items. We have reached out to PTO to assist with volunteers if anyone is interested in helping. Again thank you for your support.

Ms.Delzer’s class won top dog this week. It’s their 8th top dog in nine weeks.

Mrs. Gollihare’s 3rd grade class won 3rd place this week for spirit wear!

Fourth graders are studying the circulatory system in science. They made a model representing the three types of blood cells.




Mrs. O's class did a pumpkin investigation this morning. We measured the height, counted the lines, and used adjectives to describe their pumpkin. Lastly, we counted the seeds inside. We got a bit messy but had fun!



Mrs. Gollihare’s 3rd grade class got to build their own sail cars with the help of Mrs. Hamm and Mr. Rich for their STEM activity. They even got to test their cars using a box fan!




Beau Brown in Mrs. Gollihare’s 3rd grade class has mastered his multiplication facts! Awesome!

Another student in Mrs. Morgan’s 2nd grade class mastered his subtraction facts in under 6 seconds. Way to go, Guillermo!

Khalia Wilson in Mrs. Gollihare’s 3rd grade class has mastered her subtraction facts under 3 seconds! Amazing!
