Altus Public Schools will be in session on Thursday, January 29, and we can’t wait to see our Bulldogs back at school!
Please be patient if bus routes take longer than usual, our drivers may be moving a little slower to keep our students safe.
Parents/Guardians, please call the school if you chose to keep your child at home.

January is School Board Appreciation Month, and we are definitely thankful for these individuals who are "ALL IN" for Altus Public Schools. Our Board is comprised of 5 members, each representing a specific area of our community, and one ex officio member from Altus Air Force Base. All seats are volunteer positions, which is more proof of their love for the Bulldogs! Please join us in extending a heartfelt THANK-YOU for their service to Altus Public Schools!

Altus Public Schools is adding a new visitor management system called SchoolSAFEiD. This technology will be used at ALL school front offices.
Visitors and anyone checking a student out of school will need to show a government-issued ID, preferably a driver’s license. If you are unable to provide an ID, our front office staff will be happy to help.
Altus High School has used SchoolSAFEiD since last spring with great success. This system helps us keep our schools safe and our students protected.
