Safe Schools Week!

No school on Monday the 20th. Last day of Fall Break, enjoy your time off!

World Esports Day!

Just another day at the APS Bus Barn! As part of his Class to Career Internship, Ayden Nicholas is responsible for keeping the buses and patrol cars clean. Under the guidance of APS Maintenance Director Sammy Cryer, Ayden stays busy working with the many vehicles that make up the district’s fleet. From hands-on maintenance, like learning to change the oil, to learning the day-to-day operations behind the scenes, he’s quickly discovering there’s always something new to learn.

No school, on Friday the 17th. Have a great break!

The Mayor of Altus visited Altus Elementary School today to declare this week National School Lunch Week! The Child Nutrition Program has celebrated across the District all week by exploring foods from around the world. Altus Elementary students wore their favorite sports attire to represent the importance of good nutrition and active bodies.
